TSBV Sauron is the badminton club for students. The club was inactive for two years, because there was no committee available. We have started it back up now though, and are looking for more members. If you’re interested in badminton, feel free to visit our training nights on Tuesdays or our club nights on Wednesdays.
Sauron has both beginners and advanced players, so there will be competition for everyone. We organize tournaments and offer regular competition. And last but not least, there will be events outside of badminton so everyone can get to know each other and you can make new friends.
The training is free for everyone with a sportscard. It is for every level, check below which level is for you. They will be every week on tuesday from 20:00 to 22:00
- The third level training is perfect for beginners. Have you never touched a racket? Did you play some badminton at a camping but want to learn how it’s really done? Then this level is for you. This level will train from 21:00 to 22:00.
- The second level training is for people who have played lower level competition. If you are a decent player, then join this level. This level will train from 20:00 to 21:00.
- The first level training is the toughest and meanest training of them all. You need to be able to perform special shots like drop/smash, drive, and a flick service. This level will train from 20:00 to 21:30.
Every Wednesday from 19:00 to 20:30 TSBV Sauron members can play badminton with other members. Play matches with your friends and other members of the club and at the end of the night have a drink in the sportsbar. These nights we will have our tournaments, and our internal competition as well.
