On Tuesday, August 29th, Sauron will hosts its Start-of-the-Year Tournament! You can expect fun matches and amazing prizes to be won. This is the perfect way to get to know some old and new members of the association! 😄🙌

By filtering on ‘badminton’ in the Sports Center Tilburg app and picking the right date, you can select your level and then you are good to go! Rackets and shuttles will be provided, so all you need to bring are your sports clothes and some good sports shoes.

Can’t make it on the 29th? No worries! Another opening tournament will be played during our club night on Wednesday, August 30th at 19:00, after which we will have some drinks in the Sports Café. 👀

We would like to invite you all to the first TSBV Sauron event of the year, namely, the Yonex Dutch Open on Saturday 16 October in Almere!

The Yonex Dutch Open is the largest international badminton event in the Netherlands. The event has a very long tradition in the international badminton world and will be organized for the 72nd time this year.
The tournament is part of the Badminton Europe circuit and the Badminton World Federation. Top players from all over the world participate, with Europe and Asia in particular being strongly represented.
Of course, the Dutch top players are also present every year!

Please let us know whether you would like to join us in watching the quarter- & semi finales of the Yonex Dutch Open before Sunday 26 September. After the 26 September we will get the tickets for you and decide on the discount we are providing the Sauron members.

Come join us Tuesday 31th of August and/or Wednesday 1st of September at our club evening!

We are organizing a fun tournament so you can get to know the association and their members for the new academic year.

We play from 20:00 till 22:00 on Tuesday and 19:00 till 21:00 on Wednesday at Tilburg University Sports Center. And of course afterwards we’ll have a drink at the Sport Café.

In the weekend of 29 february – 1 march we went to the Panache tournament in Eindhoven. Organised by the students of E.S.B.V. Panache. We were with 8 people of our club and played in the 4th and 5th division. And we got some good results:
– 1st place men’s double 5:        Koen and Jonathan
– 1st place mix 5:                        Koen and Evelien
– 2th place women’s double 5:  Ineke and Evelien

On the 21th of February we will be celebrating Carnaval in Tilburg City. Dress to impress the board! We hope to see you there.

Hello hobbits and ewoks (Wrong saga…)!

13th of February we’d like to invite you all to the Carlton eredivisie Landskampioenschappen. These are the finals of the Dutch league, the highest level of badminton in the Netherlands. You can order tickets by sending us an email at tsbvsauron@outlook.com or contacting us directly during the training. If you order them before 4 februari, they will only be around €5.50 (The exact price depends on how many we order at once).

We gaan weer een nieuw collegejaarjaar in. Dit collegejaar zijn de trainingstijden veranderd voor de dinsdag. We spelen nu van 19:30 tot 21:30. Ook de trainingstijden zijn een half uur vervroegd naar 19:00 tot 20:30.  Deze informatie staat pas net correct op de site, heb je dus eerder gekeken, let dan dus op! We hopen iedereen weer te zien binnenkort.
